$135 000$.
La Fondation Angy-Trakakis, mise sur pied par Louie Trakakis après la disparition de sa fille atteinte d’un cancer foudroyant, a amassé 84 000 $ lors de son premier gala de financement.
Le 19 mars, près de 1000 personnes étaient présentes au centre des congrès Le Palace, pour soutenir la recherche contre le cancer et rendre hommage à la jeune Lavalloise, âgée de 15 ans.
«Angy a développé un cancer très rare chez les enfants, il s’agit d’un angiosarcome».
«Après avoir payé les frais du gala, nous remettons 75 000 $ à l’Hôpital de Montréal pour enfants, 5000 $ à Leucan pour les enfants atteints de cancer et 4000 $ aux Écoles Socrates», explique M. Trakakis.
